2024 Institute Day

Members will need to bring their own laptops and will explore:
- a hands on session where we will explore free online platforms that support student learning and potential for digital projects
-supporting digital literacy and 21st century competencies
-technology as a tool to foster engagement
-some AI for those who can’t attend the morning session (will not take up too much of the time though)
-tools for differentiation
-barriers to using new technologies and software's in the classroom
-open sharing time - learning from each other is valuable! 

Members will need their own laptop to explore the following:
-demystifying AI
-supporting AI literacy and 21st century competencies
-supporting students
-supporting teachers
-AI Ethics and how to talk to students about it 
-challenges
-MANY examples and tools to take away (some demonstrations)
-image and media creation
 -productivity
 -chatbots and conversations
 -multimedia design
-writing and speaking tools
-research

Natasha is currently working on a Masters in Ed Tech & Instructional Design, has been with STAR for 5 years and an inspirational speaker.
